Love a good dive bar. This was a dive, but NOT good, not good at all. The food was pretty bad, and the service was almost non existent! Drinks watered down, and we sat there for more than 30 minutes without anyone asking if we wanted more drinks or food? We just don't understand why some businesses just don't care if people come back. Pretty bad first and last impression. Don't waste your time.

I read the review and thought this would be a nice "up to date" pub I could meet friends in. All it come down to that this place is a dive bar with marginal food. We were sat at a table that leaned so bad, not enough bar napkins could straighten it out. The floor is so uneven that going to the restroom was a feat in itself. There were four of us and we ordered drinks and food. The food come out at different times. One person was done and the other just got there food. I ordered the hog wings and they were still slightly frozen In the middle. Just awful. The reason I gave it two stars was the waitress were friendly and attentive to the drinks. Sorry, I'll never visit again.

Very divey, which is ok with me, but tonight was an especially ROUGH crowd. I did like the bartenders here a lot and the atmosphere is great. If there was anyway to get rid of the stale old smell from when it used to be smoking that would be nice, but really... it's a great little place.

The clientele is a bit odd but the lady bartender rocked. It is a good pub in a world of too classy pubs and the drinks good.

Little neighborhood place. $1 jello shots when I was there. One of the guys who works there (security?) is a hottie. Good music.

Great place to go and great food! They have a dance floor and karaoke at nights! But I give one less star only for the rude customers they have in their once in awhile and defiantly not the place to go to hold a serious conversation cuz it's so loud in there!! But the owners are welcoming and the bartender is nice! They have awesome prices for happy hour and great big portions! Very generous on their happy hour food for the price! And I like the atmosphere ONLY because once you get to be a regular they really make you feel like you are at home! I am not but a couple of friends of mine are and they LOVE IT there and knows everyone working there and even most or the customers! I recommend Heritage if you like to dance to music, sing Karaoke, good priced happy hour with big portions, video poker, and full bar selection!

Absolute worst customer service I've ever expierenced. I went there for a few drinks with my family, I ordered a whiskey diet and could not taste any liquor. So I politely go up to the bar and ask the bartender named Karma if she can add a shot to my drink or remake it. She instantly becomes defensive as if I'm attacking her. She goes on to tell me I'm "entitled and expecting free stuff" when I simply wanted a decent drink. The bartender goes on to argue with me and taunt me in front of other customers. I will not be returning because of this bartender. Absolutely appalled at how horrible the customer service is.

We came for local bar, but they were not attentive so we left and went to Applebee's :(

Service is real bad, drinks are watered down. Went there because they are one of the few places in Portland to sell hog wings. Deep fried burnt pork. Had two drinks in a hour and felt nothing, not sure if it was the service or the drink, sure did not tasted vodka in my drink. Three times I had to explain vodka, diet coke with a lemon. Husband arrived asked her to put his drinks on my tab, when ready to leave she asked if the wings went on my tab or his. A very dark trashy bar, however, we use to go there for the service and some of the food. They no longer have.

The food is great! The mac and cheese and biscuits and gravy are made from scratch. There might be more on that list but those are the ones I know of. Good drinks and good food! It's a dive, so just have that in mind when you go.

The Cons: You walk in and its like they fired up the DeLorean and piped in 1.21 gigawatts and hit "shitsville, 1977." Weird carpet, white trash posters (awesome) and everyone basically looks like its 1977. Linolium tables and brown auditorium chairs. Im not kidding you, they had Jeff Healey (the blind dude from Road House) playing on the jukebox. I kept my eyes peeled for Brad Wesley just in case Dalton had the night off. Tons of 82nd riff raff wobbling in and being general dregs. If you are looking to hook up here or find some tail, just turn around. The video poker attracts some real winners. The Pros: The bartender was a bad ass chick. Great service, fast, and very friendly. The clientele that isnt stumbling in off the street are friendly old hard ridden folk. I struck up a few conversations with some friendly patrons and got along great. There are numerous, very large tv's to watch anything you want. 2 Free pool tables. The music was right up my alley: Old rock and blues. The big screen had one of those old Bob Saget shows where every guy is either getting blasted in the nuts or nearly breaking his neck. Goes right in hand with the cheap booze. The drinks are very cheap and poured very stiff. Ice cold beer. Happy hour menu is pretty good. We went in for the 2/$1 tacos and they were surprisingly DAMN good. Best tacos in town? Its possible. Best 50 cent tacos in town? Hell yes. If you are looking for a quiet dive to have some drinks and food, and you dont mind a few odd balls, berber carpet, and Burt Reynolds posters, this is a great place. Tell Sam Elliot I said hello

Love this bar, great food for a dive bar, always have a common clientele of locals and steady fluxes of new people, it can be your quiet getaway or your fearless karaoke night cause nobody here judges. Chris, kendy, and karma you guys are amazing bartenders and your drinks always well mixed, happy to say I had my own green concoction added to their repertoire. If your looking for a good burger you have to try the heritage burger And drinks well give this mix a shot 1 part madori 1 part sweet and sour 1 part pineapple rum (I go with the captain) And just a splash of Creme de minthe Mmmmm that's for the sweet tooth But a well mixed whiskey sour, or Long Island will always do the trick. Tip your bartenders people they work hard and have to pay their dues as well! Patience goes a long way for a staff who's willing to be personable

Terrible service. Staff never checks on anyone. The place is never clean. Bathrooms look like they were stolen from a underage sex trafficking warehouse. The bartender actually got on the PA to tell customers to stop farting it stunk so bad. Drinks aren't made correctly, and the beer lines don't seem to be clean. I felt like I had a good chance of contracting herpes just from sitting in the booth. Just run away!

I've been a regular here for years, not only due to the fact I live just down the road as there are a few other bars within walking distance. This is a Dive in the fullest, good drink prices, the food is good and portions are more than sufficient for two or more. Taco Tuesdays are great, 2 for $1 soft or hard shelled tacos! The Mac & Cheese is amazing, cheesy as all hell with spicy sausage medallions and bomb garlic bread. I have it at least once a week! The service is spotty as is to be expected from a "Dive" bar. Karaoke is good, though I do miss DJ Eddy, he made the Heritage better. Other than that, no complaints here! C.

Perfect lighting, really friendly bartenders, great prices with a good selection of beers on tap. $3.75 for Blue Moon, $1.50 for PBR and two free pool tables!

The bar itself was great; spacious, clean, awesome drink specials, and huge plates of food for modest prices. What makes the Heritage Pub "meh" was the bartender, Karma. She seemed extremely unhappy to be there, and in addition to being rude to me and my party, I could hear her being rude to other customers. The thing that kept my party and I from moving on was the karaoke; great sound system, song selection, and banter from the KJ. I'll be back, but not on nights this bartender works.

Fun bar to hang out with friends or make new ones, great deals on drinks and food and some of the best karaoke that I've ever seen! Really fun and personal KJ with a fair rotation and an amazing sound system to boot.
